No Wind Decoy Tactics

Goose hunting with no wind does not have to be a deal braker. By using the decoy spread described in the video below you can control where the geese land. No wind is no longer an excuse to sleep in!

The video above highlights the importance of setting your goose decoys properly with no wind. If you have hunted the location before or scouted the night before, you know where the geese approach from. Set your goose decoys in the shape of a T with the geese approachin from the bottom of the “T” to the top of the T.

Place your blinds so the geese are looking into the sun as they approach your decoys. This one to punch will entice the geese to land in your kill hole and will put more birds on the ground.
